Alexandra Settel

Ali is a 22-year-old senior majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis in
Broadcast News. She would love to become a sports sideline reporter and eventually
work with ESPN. Her idol is Erin Andrews and her dream is to become the next
female sports reporter. She has worked all four years with USF athletics and she
has announced promotional events through Hooters at most USF Football and
Basketball home games. She also works with Fox Sports at every home Buccaneers
game helping the broadcasters and producers. She was a segment producer for a 30-
minute documentary “Forever Fifties”, which aired in January 2012 on W-USF. After
she graduates in May, she hopes to pursue her career with a local news station or
even change scenery and move away. She can’t wait to see what life brings.
