Shamira Thompson

Shamira Thompson is a senior at the University of South Florida studying Broadcast News. After graduation she plans on moving up north to work as a reporter in sports or news. Ultimately she wishes to open a production company and produce a talk show. Shamira has worked as an anchor for a local Brevard county newsbreak for BPS-TV. She has interned as a reporter with USF Athletics, Clear Channel Radio, and USF School of Mass Communications. During her internship with USF Athletics she had one of her interviews published to Fox Sports in New York. Shamira’s background in acting gives her an edge as on-air talent. She has been featured in commercials for Disney, Universal and ESPN. She currently works as the multimedia editor for the USF Oracle.
